Elevator pitch No. 2

Reflection on past comments.  First off I'd like to thank Marissa and Michelle for leaving some awesome and helpful comments on my last elevator pitch.  Both of my commenters liked the idea of a restaurant that serves food made with locally grown ingredients.  Marissa pointed out something that was pretty helpful.  In my original pitch, I stated that my company would be working with Chipotle's supply chain management to set up an effective supply chain.  Her point was that maybe at this current point in time, Chipotle might not be the best company to work with supply chain-wise, for obvious reasons.  Michelle mentioned that affordable healthy food would do very well, especially in a college town, where college kids are ballers on a budget.  Michelle also liked my catch phrase, "Eat comfortably", since my restaurant would be called Comfort Food, haha.  It's a work in progress.

Here is the link to the video, since for some strange reason, I am unable to just upload it straight to the post:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fXrQr1HRftY

  1. Hey Dakotah,

Having a restaurant that has food which is affordable is a great idea especially for college students. Having an affordable restaurant for college students which has only locally grown food in its ingredients? That sounds even better. Not only will your idea create a new experience but it will also help the local community and economy which can result in high profitability for your restaurant. Great job. The idea is solid, and I think if you put more thought into this idea and how to implement it, you will be well on your way to changing the way we eat food and possibly saving the desolate local farming industry. 2. Dakotah,
Clearly it looks like the comments made in your previous post really helped you out. Overall, your pitch for having healthy, organic food that is affordable for college students would be amazing. One thing I would like to say is that your video was not really your pitch for a second time. This take was meant to do your pitch again with improvements. Any who, take a look at mine at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fXrQr1HRftY

  3. Hi Dakotah,

I would first like to say that your blog looks really nice! Your pitch was very interesting. I like how you are confident about your ideas in your pitch. I definitely have trouble eating healthy so your pitch was so relatable! It's a great way for someone to change their life. I liked your pitch! 4. A healthy food chain in a college town is huge. The transition from high school to college is a difficult one. For me personally, I was an athlete in high school, so my workouts were pretty much planned in the practices by my coaches. But when I got to college I lost that guidance. Same for eating. I couldn't really cook food in a dorm, so I ate what was available. But if there was a restaurant I knew to be healthy, I would eat there in a heartbeat. I think a lot of freshmen, especially, would take pride in the fact that they are taking care of their bodies on their own.
